The first carsharing service has launched in Slovakia, according to a report by The Slovak Spectator.
up! City has opened its first location in downtown Bratislava. Volkswagen Slovakia is one of the partners of the carsharing service.
Currently, the first seven electric Volkswagen e-Up! vehicles can be rented from Bratislava’s SNP square, according to the report. The cost is 25 euros for a half day and 35 euros for the whole day.
The company will offer a 4 euros charge for the minimum rental time of one hour — with the goal of having a pricing schedule that charges a per-minute price, says the report.
up! City plans to add more locations in the near future.
