Five ADESA auctions remained closed Monday as Hurricane Irma moved through Georgia and Alabama, and two ADESA auctions in those states curtailed hours and staff, the KAR Auction Services unit announced.

ADESA auctions in Tampa, Sarasota, Orlando, Ocala, and Jacksonville didn't open on Monday. ADESA Atlanta closed at 1 p.m., and ADESA Birmingham opened but the facility was operating with limited staff.

ADESA Orlando planned to have its regularly scheduled consignment sale on Tuesday, while the Atlanta and Birmingham facilities remained on track to have consignment sales on Wednesday.

Dealers and consignors can monitor the ADESA website for updates.
