Zoomcar, an India-based self-driving car rental service, has partnered with Malaysian-based AirAsia, according to a report by the Economic Times.
The partnership allows AirAsia customers to book Zoomcar for its local and intercity self-driven transportation, says the report. Located in 26 cities across India, Zoomcar rents vehicles on hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
“We are excited about the partnership which will further enable the AirAsia guests to experience Zoomcar accessibility at airports with an ease and flexibility,” Greg Moran, Zoomcar’s co-founder and chief executive, told Economic Times. “The door-to-door delivery experience enhances customer comfort and convenience and to leave them with a memorable experience of self-drive time and again.”
AirAsia India currently flies to 16 destinations with its hubs in new Delhi, Kolkata, and Bengaluru.
