As part of its campaign “Proud to Share,” car2go’s mini documentary series highlight the stories of car2go members in the U.S. and Canada and how they are using carsharing in their cities.

The first of eight "Proud to Share" mini-documentaries puts a spotlight on hip hop duo Run the Jewels, who cruise around New York City in a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA car2go. Run the Jewels’ drive through the neighborhoods of New York is also a sneak-peak of the new Mercedes-Benz vehicles that car2go plans to make available to its New York members before the end of the year, according to the company.

"'Proud to Share' expresses the spirit, values, and philosophy of car2go," said Paul DeLong, CEO of car2go North America. "For car2go members, it's not just about being able to get from point A to point B without having to own a car; it's also about the pride that comes with being a big part of a growing global sharing movement that delivers easy, affordable access to thousands of rich life experiences."

Additional "Proud to Share" mini-documentaries feature artists, musicians, and small business owners. Filmed and produced by creative agency Bakery, the series of short documentary-style videos tell stories of how different people living in New York, Austin, Washington D.C., Denver, Vancouver, and Montreal are using car2go to travel, grow their small businesses, and live fuller lives.
