Europcar Group has opened new franchises in nine countries through its two major rental car brands: Europcar and its low-cost brand InterRent.
Europcar opened franchises in Israel (28 locations), Lebanon (2 locations), Rwanda (2 locations), Senegal (4 locations), Cambodia (2 locations), Guatemala (2 locations), and Mali (2 locations).
The brand InterRent is now operating at Dubai International Airport and in Chile (3 locations).
“We are proud to welcome new franchisees into Europcar Group,” said Marcus Bernhardt, managing director of Europcar Group’s international coverage business unit. “Enlarge our presence worldwide and be able to offer our mobility services and high quality standards everywhere is a part of our Group International strategy. Our objective is to develop our presence in countries where the Group was not enough present, especially in the Middle-East region, a growing leisure destination.”
