General Motors’ carsharing service Maven has launched its Maven Gig option in Baltimore, according to a report by the Baltimore Sun. Maven Gig drivers are provided access to vehicles they can use for independent gigs, such as package delivery, food or grocery delivery, and ride sharing.

Maven Gig allows drivers to rent a vehicle for a flat weekly rate, including gas and insurance, says the report.

Currently, Maven Gig is also available in Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Washington, D.C.
