China’s ride-hailing app Didi Chuxing plans to launch a carsharing service with a $151 million investment, according to an article by the South China Morning Post.

Considered the Uber of China, Didi will build a fleet of electric cars and other new-energy vehicles for its service. The article reported Cheng Wei, the founder and chief executive of Didi, said users will be able to reserve a car with a smartphone app.
