Since launching in December 2015, the Cross Border Xpress (CBX) terminal pedestrian bridge near the U.S./Mexico border has experienced a 47% growth in traffic.
More than 3 million passengers have used the bridge, which links San Diego and the Tijuana International Airport.
The 390-foot enclosed pedestrian bridge is reserved exclusively for Tijuana Airport passengers to cross the U.S./Mexico border and offers food and beverage options, shopping and a rental car counter for brands like Mex Rent-A-Car and Fox Rent A Car.
