South African peer-to-peer car rental startup RentMyRide hopes to drastically increase its presence this year, according to Business Report.

Founded in Cape Town in 2016, the service has since expanded to Gauteng, Durban, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth, and East London.

The platform allows vehicle owners to rent out their cars when they’re not in use, much like Airbnb. The company claims renters can earn up to R45,000 ($3,691 USD) per month.
