Tech Investor Drops from eHi Car Services

Tech investor Chase Coleman announced his departure from eHi Car Services, a car rental company based in Shanghai, reports GuruFocus.

Coleman, who is the founder and CEO of Tiger Global Management, initially invested in eHi Car Services in 2015. He ended his investment in the first quarter of 2018 at an estimated net gain of 5%.

Despite a 27.6% revenue growth from car rentals and other services in the past year, operating costs increased 26.1%, not including rising depreciation and labor costs.
