John Bauer retires after 29 years as TRAC and TCUV performance manager.

Toyota USA has announced that John Bauer, longtime TRAC (Toyota Rent a Car) and TCUV (Toyota Certified Used Vehicles) performance manager, will be retiring from his position after 29 years with the company.  

During his tenure at Toyota, John has held managerial positions within Toyota Motor Sales (TMS) headquarters and the field organization, including district manager — San Francisco Region, TMS dealer placement administrator and TRAC marketing & operations management.

“John is a very valuable contributor to our team and has made a meaningful impact to both our TRAC business and recent TCUV revitalization,” said Andrew Gilleland, vice president, sales operations, Toyota Division. “John will be missed for his vast knowledge and expertise in the automotive industry.”

Bauer will retire officially on Oct. 11. Effective since Sept. 3, Kelly Parkman has been assigned to the position of TRAC/ TCUV performance manager from her previous role as retail transformation consultant.
