The Michigan Attorney General's Office has filed a new lawsuit against Executive Car Rental, according to the Detroit Free Press.
In the lawsuit, the AG's office claims that the car rental company breached its agreement to settle hundred of consumer complaints. The settlement was agreed upon in March, and required Executive to refund security deposits, among other stipulations.
In a statement, the attorney general's office said that Executive "continues to use the same deceptive and illegal tactics that got it into trouble initially."
Earlier this month, Executive filed a lawsuit alleging a consultant for Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel's campaign extorted the car rental company's owner.
