Regine Sixt, senior executive vice president of Sixt, hosted her annual women’s networking event Damenwiesn at the Munich Oktoberfest. Over 1,200 women from around the world came to support the Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation “Drying Little Tears.” This foundation supports aid projects for children in need worldwide.

"It fills me with incredible pride to be able to celebrate today with friends and business partners from all over the world and to do good for children in need from all cultures and religions," said Regine Sixt.

Held for over 20 years, the annual Damenwiesn meeting offers a lunch and space for networking for guests.

“It is a great gift to be able to meet so many friends and business partners from all over the world in this wonderful setting and exchange ideas with each other,” said Sixt. “It has always been my heart’s desire to put our meeting at the service of a good cause and to support the smallest and weakest members of our society. We all have a duty to help where people are not as well off as we are.”

Currently, the Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation has expanded its work to more than 175 aid projects in the areas of education, health care, and emergency aid in more than 50 countries.
