Ride-hailing groups Uber and Ola will be temporarily suspending their services in Delhi, as the government announced a state-wide lockdown to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

According to NDTV, the Delhi government has announced a lockdown until March 31 that forbids the use of public transit, taxis, and autorickshaws. Prior to the announcement, both companies had already suspended their shared ride option.

While in lockdown, the city's borders will be sealed. Additionally, all flights in and out of the state have been canceled.
