The tourism Industry has taken a hit as COVID-19 causes travelers to stay at home. With fewer flights been taken, fewer vehicles are being rented.

Business Insider reports that rental car operators are having to find storage space for the thousands of idle vehicles that would normally be used by travelers and tourists.

In Maui, a reporter saw thousands of vehicles lined up in sugar can fields that belong to renal agencies at Kahului Airport. Similar situations are being seen across the country, with idle rental vehicles being stores at Dodger Stadium.
