BELLEVUE, Wash. -- ANC Rental Corp., the parent company of the Alamo and National car rental brands, has tapped Click2learn to create a corporate e-Learning hub to serve its North American employee base.

The initiative will allow ANC Rental to roll out performance and learning programs in a wide range of company procedures and policies to thousands of associates at approximately 300 airport rental locations in North America. The initiative, which will be rolled out over the course of four years, will be accessible to employees via computers at rental locations and at corporate headquarters in Ft. Lauderdale. ANC Rental's initiative is based on Click2learn's skills and competency-based learning management system (LMS), the Aspen Learning Management Server. The scaleable platform provides a single point of management for all the company's performance and learning program activities -- including instructor-led learning events and meetings, self-directed courses, InterWise virtual classroom technology, and personalized e-Learning content and courses.
