SOUTH KOREA -- Daewoo Motor Co. announced it has resumed production because the company's main parts suppliers, including Korea Delphi, have ended a boycott.
The boycott, prompted by Daewoo's unpaid bills, had threatened to derail Daewoo's joint venture with General Motors Corp. The suppliers stopped parts deliveries in August, halting production of about 2,000 vehicles a day.
