HARRISBURG, Penn. -- To the relief of Allegheny County car rental operators, Pennsylvania legislators adjourned Nov. 27 without taking action on a proposed 3% car rental tax.
The tax plan sought to raise $3.5 million annually to help finance a hotel adjacent to Pittsburgh's David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
