BELLEVUE, Wash. --- Expedia announced it has added Budget, Payless and Europcar to its Platinum Marketing Program for preferred car rental vendors.
The rental companies join Advantage, Hertz and Enterprise in this program. Program participants must guarantee that they'll offer no rates lower than those they've made available on Expedia. This means they can't even offer lower rates on their own Web sites.
Expedia.com attracts nearly 25 million shoppers each month.
