ST. LOUIS --- Enterprise Rent-A-Truck, a division of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, announced that it is expanding its network of local branch offices and developing its own distinct brand to serve the commercial truck rental needs of businesses throughout the United States. The division provides a comprehensive "virtual fleet" of commercially equipped vehicles, including light- and medium-duty vehicles, such as box, stake-beds and cargo vans, as well as three-quarter and one-ton pickups equipped for towing.

It focuses exclusively on commercial operations that need to expand capacity on short notice or to maintain routes and schedules when their own trucks are out of service, because of an unexpected breakdown, repair or accident.

The Rent-A-Truck fleet consists of late model trucks with automatic transmission and standard air-ride seats, and will not require a commercial driver’s license. Enterprise’s customized programs include short-term and/or long-term rentals – on either a daily, weekly and monthly basis. No advance notice is required and each truck rental comes with 24-hour Roadside Assistance.
