Expedia Inc. has announced that it has reached a multi-year agreement with The Hertz Corporation to continue its participation in the Expedia Preferred Rental Car Program.

Under the agreement, Hertz will maintain its preferred partner positioning on Expedia.com and Expedia.ca, and Expedia customers will continue to receive the best rates available through the site.

By continuing its partnership with Expedia, Hertz can reach Expedia's more than 22 million unique visitors per month.

Hertz says extending its partnership with Expedia through its Preferred Rental Car Program strengthens the company's online market position and assists in building the Hertz brand online.
