Advantage Appoints Director of Sales

Advantage Rent A Car has appointed Jim Bascom, director of sales, tour. As Advantage expands the tour business and further develops the operations both domestically and internationally, Bascom will be instrumental in that initiative.

Bascom has had a successful career in car rental and similar industries with nearly 15 years focused on tour operations. He has held executive positions at Carefree Vacations, Dollar Rent A Car/Lindo’s Rent A Car, Partner, Specialty Auto Rentals and most recently the Khoury Group–developing international account bases for Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Advantage will partner with travel operators providing packages to destinations throughout the world.
