The Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport is busier for the 15th consecutive month, President and CEO Mike Landguth recently told the Airport Authority board, Chattanooga.com reports.

The board was also told that fees paid to the airport by rental car companies will be up by $2 million over a five-year period under new contracts.

The previous five-year take was $3.5 million, but it will be $5.5 million under the new arrangements. The airport leases office and parking space to Hertz, Avis, National/Alamo, Enterprise and Budget.
