Renters across the nation were eager to offer feedback to jalopnik.com’s question of the day: What’s the hardest you’ve beaten a rental car?

Many of the responses included emergency brake drifts, setting rentals on fire, centering rentals on large rocks and pulling baseball sized rocks out of the undercarriage of the vehicle. Additionally, many renters said they try to see how fast a vehicle can go, and often race with rentals, to the point where the vehicle can no longer function.

Common vehicles that have seen torture are Ford Explorers, Ford Escorts, Chevrolet Cavaliers and Dodge Neons.
