Unison-CRS, which provides rental car facilities financial planning, implementation and management consulting services to airport clients and facilities management services to rental car companies and the rental car industry, announces its new president, Marshall Fein.

Fein brings more than 29 years of airport concessions, car rental facilities and consolidated rental operations expertise and accomplishments to the newly created firm. In this new role, Fein will be responsible for the overall operation and management of Unison-CRS, including leading new business development efforts and providing strategic consulting services to clients.

Fein is a recognized leader in the industry from his previous role as former secretary and general counsel for Advantage Rent A Car. In this capacity, he was responsible for the overall supervision of facilities, airport concessions, airport relationships, properties, risk management and general legal obligations. While there, Fein also served as a lead representative on many airport car rental facilities, design, construction and management committees for facilities at Albuquerque, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Kansas City, Phoenix and Seattle, to name a few.

Over the past 15 years, Fein has worked on more than $1 billion in airport car rental facilities projects at more than 40 airports. He has negotiated concession agreements, construction agreements, operations and maintenance agreements, busing agreements, financing agreements and leases. He has also played an instrumental role on the following airport car rental facilities projects:

  • RAC Committee Chairman (13-year tenure), George Bush Intercontinental (Houston)
    • Supervised a team of experts to manage the design, development, financing, construction and ultimate operations of the $130 million state-of-the-art facility

  • Vice chairman, Phoenix Sky Harbor International and Seattle-Tacoma International
    • Worked on the design and construction phases, as well as the concession and lease phase assisting the industry and the airports to create viable projects

Fein has a Juris Doctor, St. Mary's University, and a Bachelor of Arts, Texas A&M-Kingsville.
