The 2010 Budget Rent A Car fleet offers customers fuel-efficient vehicles in several car classes that allow renters to save at the gas pump and maximize their travel budget.
Among its fleet of approximately 100,000 vehicles, more than half are rated 28 miles per gallon or better (highway) by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. In addition, the current fleet features the smart fortwo coupe that gets an average of 41 miles a gallon (highway), making it one of the most fuel-efficient, standard-engine vehicles available.
