According to www.click2houston.com, two men were arrested last week in Houston after attempting to sell a rental car vehicle from Hertz on the classified website Craigslist.com. The men, Bradley Rhodes and Brandon Wilson —both 26 — forged the vehicle title under the name “Marcus Hertz.”

According to the article, both men have posted bail after being charged with felonies. Rhodes was arrested for forgery and theft, while Wilson was charged with theft and fraudulent transfer of a motor vehicle.

Wilson had rented the sold vehicle, which had been listed as missing by Hertz after he didn’t return the 2011 Nissan Altima. The person who attempted to buy the vehicle reported to police that the vehicle was stolen after he tried to obtain license plates for the vehicle. The buyer said that the transaction ended up costing about $6,000, in which, if found guilty, the two men will have to repay back to the victim.
