According to the Global Times, car rental bookings in China have jumped by up to 80% after the government waived all highway tolls for seven days during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, which run from Sept. 30 to Oct. 7.
The toll exemption from the Ministry of Transportation only applies to vehicles that seat fewer than seven people.
