Zipcar Inc. will introduce a new driving program for weekday rentals without an annual fee in Toronto and Vancouver, Canada, according to a company announcement on Jan. 4.

Zipcars and Zipvans will be available through the Access Plan from Monday through Friday for members to rent starting at $9 an hour or $78 per day in Toronto and $8 an hour or $72 per day in Vancouver. The hourly and daily rates include gas, insurance and limited kilometers per day.

While there is no annual fee, members are restricted to 125 km per day, weekday rentals and they cannot rent luxury cars.

Access Plan members can still upgrade to Zipcar's existing membership plan if they need more traveling options.
