Avis Car Rental celebrates more than 300,000 vehicle exchange/upgrade transactions for its Avis Preferred Select & Go program.
Avis Preferred members will be able to pick-up their pre-assigned vehicle, exchange it or upgrade the vehicle using Avis’ vehicle selection service in Canada.
After launching its vehicle selection service for Avis Preferred members in June, Avis has reached 100,000 transactions. The service allows members to keep, exchange or upgrade their pre-assigned rental vehicle before driving away.
Avis Preferred Select & Go is available at 25 airport locations in the U.S., with plans to extend to 50 locations by the end of the year.
Frequent renters enrolled in Avis’ loyalty program will have more options when redeeming two-day rental reward certificates after the company removed blackout restrictions.
With the new Select & Go service, customers drive their selected vehicle to the exit gate, present a valid driver's license to the Avis representative and the rental check-out process is completed.
Members will receive discounts on thousands of Regus meeting rooms, virtual office programs and fully-equipped offices.
The new service is available at select U.S. airports and allows frequent travelers to keep their garments wrinkle-free in their rental by way of eco-friendly hangers.
