American Traffic Solutions (ATS) Fleet Services, a provider of fleet toll and violation management systems, has acquired all the assets of Rent A Toll, a toll management solutions provider to rental car companies.
The companies' new agreement will provide customers with violation processing — including toll, parking and red light violations — with one provider.
Rent A Toll Ltd. received U.S. Patent No. 8,195,506 for its prepaid tolling service, Pass24 that allows customers to pay a flat fee in order to gain unlimited toll usage for the duration of their rental.
TSD customers, who subscribe to the RTL service, will be able to automatically bill rental car customers for the fees they incur while driving rental vehicles. This eliminates any toll violations, penalties and legal fees generated by TSD rental car customers, and reduces operating costs.
