car2go has announced that its Vancouver members can now make trips in more advanced smart fortwo vehicles, including Bluetooth access, seat warmers, and a new transmission.
Vancouver has become the first city in the world to top 100,000 car2go carsharing members.
car2go has added 75 Mercedes B-Class vehicles to its smart fortwo fleet in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary. This is the first time the carsharing company has used four-door vehicles.
Car2go is doubling its fleet to 1,250 vehicles in Vancouver. When the extra 625 smart fortwo vehicles are added by the end of September, Vancouver will have the largest car2go fleet in the world.
car2go Canada Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler North America Corp., has been named as Toronto's Best Car Service in NOW Magazine's 2013 "Best of Toronto" reader's poll.
