Florida Highway Patrol Won’t Require Non-U.S. Drivers to Carry International Driver’s Permit
The Florida Highway Patrol said it will defer enforcement of a new Florida statute that requires non-U.S. residents to carry an International Driver’s Permit along with a valid license from their home country. The amendment conflicts with the 1949 Geneva Convention on Road Traffic.
