Budget Business Program Returns $6 Million in Rebates
In 2009, the Budget Business Program awarded nearly $2 million to small and mid-sized businesses for car rentals.
Budget Rent A Car announced that it has surpassed $6 million in rebates to members of its "Budget Business Program," with $1.8 million being returned to small and mid-sized businesses for car rentals in 2009. Designed for small and mid-sized businesses that spend up to $50,000 per year on car rentals, the Budget Business Program offers a way to help manage travel expenses by offering low rates and a $2 rebate for every paid rental day.
"Small and mid-sized businesses are focused intently on the bottom line and depend on value," said Melissa Lynch, vice president of business to business marketing for Avis Budget Group, parent company of Budget. "The Budget Business Program provides clean, reliable, low-mileage vehicles at a great price, with rebates that add up to help our members' bottom line."
The Budget Business Program is free, has no minimum spending requirement and is open to U.S.-based companies; drivers must be age 21 or over. Program members receive monthly statements that include a check for total rebates earned. In addition to $2 back on every completed rental day, participants also benefit from additional discounts on all car classes, unlimited mileage, no additional driver fees and complimentary Fastbreak(R) membership, Budget's express service that features paperless transactions.
