Alamo Launches Partnership with Japan Airlines
The partnership will gain 300 miles per rental for the airline’s frequent fliers in the U.S. and Canada.
Japan Airlines (JAL) and Alamo Rent A Car launched a partnering program in the U.S. and Canada that will allow the airline’s frequent fliers to also gain miles when they rent cars from any participating Alamo location, according to a Sept. 2 press release.
The frequent flier program, JAL Mileage Bank, expects the relationship will gain its members hundreds of miles by renting from Alamo — owned and operated by Enterprise Holdings. JAL Mileage Bank members will earn 300 miles per rental, and in a special bonus opportunity an 600 miles will be given to members that rent before Oct. 30, 2011. The offer also includes a discounted insurance rate.
JAL members must make reservations in advance, use the promo code JALBONUS and present their membership card at the time of arrival. “We are confident that JAL Mileage Bank members will be pleased with our tailored services geared to Japanese customers, and in the additional benefit of earning miles,” stated Jerry Mosiello, vice president of International Business Development for Enterprise Holdings, in the release.
