Veteran Car Rental, Franchise Legal Practice Adds New Attorneys

The legal practice formerly known as LaPlaca Law, P.C. is continuing under the new name, LaPlaca Pujo, P.C., the firm announced last week. The veteran car rental industry legal practice also announced that it has added two attorneys:
Tanja E. Hens, Of Counsel
Hens has more than 15 years of experience representing clients in a variety of industries in all aspects of franchise law, including franchise counseling, structuring new systems, registration and disclosure, and representing franchisors in connection with transactions and disputes with franchisees. She graduated from the University of Chicago Law School and Georgetown University. Tanja is a member of the Oregon Bar.
Michelle R. Daley, Of Counsel
Daley has more than seven years of experience in construction and general commercial litigation, including franchising and general corporate law. She graduated from Emory University School of Law and the University of Maryland. Daley is a member of the District of Columbia, Florida and Maryland bars.
Leslie Pujo worked with LaPlaca from 2008 until his passing this year, and said that she would continue the LaPlaca Law Guides for the auto rental industry and keep the firm’s focus on vehicle rental law and franchise law. The firm’s announcement stated, “The entire LaPlaca Pujo team looks forward to maintaining Michael LaPlaca’s standards of service and commitment to our clients.”
