DTG Appoints V.P.-Customer Advocate

TULSA, Okla. -- Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group (DTG) has named Janet Worley to the newly created position of vice president-customer advocate.

In her new role, Worley will oversee the company's customer service efforts. She will report to Don Himelfarb, chief administrative officer.

Worley joined the company in 1991 as manager of financial planning for Dollar Rent A Car Systems. During her tenure, she has served in a variety of positions, including director of quality assurance. Worley was promoted to staff vice president of reservations in January 2000 and has been responsible for worldwide telephone sales.

"Janet is an experienced leader who demonstrates a keen understanding of DTG's strategies, and she has the ability to develop effective customer initiatives that will benefit the consumer," Himelfarb said. "Janet will champion the needs of DTG customers and provide them avenues that enhance their car rental experience."
