Police in Arizona are seeking a man suspected in connection with a string of car thefts from rental agencies in Phoenix and Tucson.

Authorities said the suspect used Mexican identification to rent vehicles from two separate airport rental agencies, which police would not identify.

Police said the suspect, who used the name Carlos Lopez or Carlos Oliver, is Hispanic and in his mid-30s.

Police said the car rental agency in Tucson rented to the suspect twice within one week, both times giving him a 2010 Jeep Commander, which were never returned.

The suspect also rented a vehicle from a rental agency at Phoenix's Sky Harbor Airport and never returned it.

Investigators said the vehicles have not been used in any crimes and suspect the 2010 Jeep Commanders are out of the country, leaving the rental agencies with a loss in property.

In Alaska the only people who would have any concern at all would be the rental car company. The insurance company calls this a conversation so they don't pay. The local police have no interest because it is a conversation. If you voluntarily gave the perp the keys, you loose and no one cares but you.
