Advantage Rent a Car Opens Four New Locations in the U.S.
The Hertz Corporation said it will open six more locations by November.
Advantage Rent a Car announced Monday the opening of four new locations in Boston, Dallas Love Field, Louisville and Milwaukee, which will serve each city's airport.
In addition, the company will be opening six additional locations throughout October in Charlotte, Las Vegas (two locations), Providence, Raleigh/Durham and Tampa. With these openings Advantage will have 44 locations in the United States, with more openings scheduled in coming months.
"An increased presence in the value segment of the leisure travel market is a strategic priority for The Hertz Corporation. Our Advantage brand represents both value and moderately priced car rentals, a combination of factors critical for many travelers," said Mark P. Frissora, chairman and chief executive officer of The Hertz Corporation, which owns Advantage. "According to the US Travel Association, growing numbers of travelers shop online and Advantage's strong Internet presence is essential to targeting value-conscience consumers. Continued location expansion of the Advantage brand is a key element of our plan to serve these consumers at leisure destinations across the United States."
