On Nov. 25, a rental car company received an anonymous phone call early in the morning that they needed to retrieve a car at Jefferson Boulevard and 12th Avenue in south Los Angeles, according the Los Angeles Times. Upon arrival at 1 a.m., the employee found a partially nude body of a deceased woman, whose identity has not been released.

Sgt. Carlton Brown of the Los Angeles Police Department called the rental car company a “mom and pop” operation, but did not name which agency. The woman was in her 30s-40s and was found in a silver Suzuki. The anonymous caller is considered a “person of interest” in the case.

Anyone with information on this apparent homicide is asked to call the LAPD's Southwest Division watch commander at 1-213-485-2582.
