Sixt, an international provider of integrated mobility services, is expanding in the Caribbean Islands and will offer the customers a full mobility service, according to a Dec. 5 press release.

Business and leisure customers can rent vehicles at the new Sixt location at the Owen Roberts International Airport on the main island of Grand Cayman. The rental fleet includes mid-range vehicles such as Ford Focus up to Jeep Wrangler.

For the first time, Sixt will work along with a franchise partner in the Cayman Islands. Sixt reports that the partner has many years of experience in the rental business.

In cooperation with the franchise and business partners, Sixt is represented by numerous locations in the Caribbean Islands, including Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, St. Lucia, St Maarten, Jamaica, Barbados, Guadeloupe, and Martinique.

Sixt has begun to tap the U.S. market and is now represented in Florida at tourist hubs in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
