Sixt Expands Fleet to Australia
Sixt will offer vehicles from Australian manufacturer Holden, as well as vehicles from Toyota, Hyundai and Mitsubishi to offer a fleet of vehicles to renters in Australia.
Sixt announced an agreement with an Australian car rental company that has not yet been named to offer its services in Australia. Sixt will offer compact cars, premium cars and SUVs from manufacturers such as Australian manufacturer Holden, Toyota, Hyundai and Mitsubishi.
Sixt Rent A Car stations will be located at several major airports in Australia including Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Canberra, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Additionally, Sixt will operate stations throughout inner-city locations in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
Customers will be able to rent Sixt vehicles for single-day trips or up to several weeks at a time.
“Our goal is to tap the continent’s potential across the board with our high-class mobility solutions,” said of Sixt Senior Vice President/International Franchise Rüdiger Proske. “It’s an important milestone on the way to the internationalizing of Sixt — which we are systematically driving forward.”
