According to a Dec. 20 press release, airport car rental reservations for the holiday are up more than 11% over last year for the Alamo Rent A Car, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental brands, all owned and operated by Enterprise Holdings.
Enterprise Holdings' Christmas week reservations are up more than 20%.
“We understand that millions of travelers are depending on car rental to help them reach their families and friends in time to celebrate the holiday season,” said Rob Hibbard, VP/airport business development for Enterprise Holdings. “And we are ready to provide the kind of service that keeps these busy car rental customers coming back again and again.”
For example, Alamo, Enterprise and National collectively lead with more than one-third of all airport business in the United States and Canada, the release states. More specifically, Enterprise Holdings’ portfolio of brands hit a new record this year for combined airport market share: 34.4%, up more than six points since the company’s 2007 acquisition of the Alamo and National brands.
