Albany, N.Y.,-based carsharing group Capital CarShare will suspend operations beginning Dec. 31, News10 reports.

The non-profit's board voted to suspend service in November due to “increased insurance premiums and unsustainable financial obligations." 

The board cited financial pressures from COVID-19 as an aggravating factor.
