A man was arrested in Chicago last week after he rented a stolen rental car from the man who stole it, according to a report by DNAinfo.com.
When police stopped the driver (Martel Rodgers), he told police that he knew the other man rented it. Rodgers paid him $275 for the car, according to the report.
The car was rented from Payless Car Rental earlier this year and was due back on Jan. 19, police and prosecutors told DNAinfo.com. Payless reported the car stolen on Feb. 20.
Rodgers was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, according to the report.
