BlueSG, Singapore’s nationwide electric vehicle carsharing program, will launch in December, according to a report by the Business Times.
The service will start with 80 vehicles and 30 charging stations with a total of 120 charging points, says the report. Of the charging locations, 18 will be in public housing areas and 10 will be in the city center. The other two stations will be located in one-north and Science Park.
BlueSG is a subsidiary of the French-based Bollore Group, which runs seven other electric carsharing systems in Europe and the U.S. using its Bluecar vehicles, according to the report.
