Kerikeri Retirement Village in New Zealand is purchasing an electric vehicle carsharing fleet for its residents, according to The Northern Advocate. 

The fleet will include a Kia Soul and three Nissan Leaf zero-emission electric vehicles. 

According to the article, the project is funded by the Kerikeri Village Trust and a Low Emission Vehicles Contestable Fund grant of $67,250 administered by the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA).

Vehicles will begin to arrive in February with an expected completion date of April 30.
