Ireland's peer-to-peer carsharing app Fleet has raised 275,000 euros ($319,543) on the country’s first-ever equity crowdfunding platform, Wicklow News reports.

The company has decided to overfund in hopes of acquiring further investment before the round closes on Sept. 15.

Fleet has been approved for matched funding from Enterprise Ireland, and investors are eligible for the Employment and Investment Incentive Scheme, which provides income tax relief up to 40%.

Since launching in June 2017, Fleet has partnered with insurance company AXA Ireland to change car ownership in the country by allowing users to bid their cars for rental use.
