Lawsuit Claims Michigan AG Campaign Consultant Extorted Executive Car Rental
Executive Car Rental is alleging that an IT consultant demanded money from the company in exchange for influence over an on-going investigation.
As of now, it is not believe Nessel was involved in the plot.

Executive Car Rental is alleging in a new lawsuit that a man connected with Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel's campaign tried to extort the rental agency multiple times throughout the past year.
According to the Detroit Free Press, Dmitriy Movsesyan was an IT consultant who worked for Nessel's campaign in 2018. In the lawsuit, it is alleged Movsesyan contacted Executive numerous times to demand money from the car rental agency's owner, Maher Waad.
Earlier this year, the Michigan attorney general's investigated Executive over issues and complaints related to credit car charges. Movsesyan reportedly contacted Waad, even as recently as this month, demanding money in exchange for influence over the investigation.
As of now, it is not believe Nessel was involved in the plot.
