PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Avis Rent A Car System announced plans to add 7,000 more XM Satellite Radio-equipped GM cars to its fleet this month.
The service will be available to Avis customers in 30 major cities. The introductory cost for the XM service is $2.99 per day. Avis plans to add another estimated 20,000 GM vehicles with factory-installed XM radios to its fleet throughout the year.
